On January 20, 2010, ELA-CA presented Ecological Landscaping Pre-Conference Day to Ecological Farming Conference at the Asilomar Conference Grounds, in Pacific Grove, CA.

At the pre-conference attendees learned from the old guard pioneers who have been unpaving the way for the last 25 years, as well as from the brightest new stars with the hottest information about creating and maintaining ecological landscapes.

Topics ranged from edible landscaping to greywater, and from sustainable landscaping to the soil food web. The day included an inspiring tour of the native landscape on the Asilomar grounds, and the latest information about greywater from the one of the founders of the Bay Area’s Greywater Guerillas.
